Mr. Frank Jawidzik joined the Wallingford community as the principal of Dag Hammarskjold Middle School in 2023. He has spent his entire career in education supporting students at the middle school level. Prior to becoming principal, he taught eighth-grade social studies in Cheshire and later served the communities of Naugatuck and New Milford as an assistant principal. Mr. Jawidzik received his undergraduate degree in Secondary Education and History from the University of Rhode Island and earned his master’s degree in Special Education from Fairfield University. He completed his sixth-year degree in Educational Leadership at Quinnipiac University, where he received the Excellence in Scholarship and Leadership award. At Dag, Mr. Jawidzik enjoys fostering a positive school climate for all students, staff, and families. He values the partnership of all members of the school community and is committed to ensuring that every student has a positive and meaningful middle school experience.
